Almost 13 years ago I began to wonder if my years of search for effective pain relief was so challenging because I was really unlucky, or was it a problem others faced too.  I began to learn more about the issues that all chronic pain patients face while searching for relief and the struggles the medical industry faces in trying to treat chronic pain.  I believe that patient voices must be heard as we move into the future and I strive to ensure that every patients basic human rights are protected.
